Scholarships

In order to encourage students and provide practical experience in natural resource management, QMDC offers scholarships worth $1500 each.

The scholarships are open to third year university students in a range of areas, but generally those undertaking a Bachelor of Environmental Management, a Bachelor of Natural Resources, or a Bachelor of Agricultural Science.

The successful applicants will be expected to undertake a specific project with QMDC during their 16 week industrial placement. This will provide an opportunity to develop skills in project management, learn from QMDC staff and gain valuable work experience. Students may approach QMDC, or QMDC may post project proposals to this page - stay tuned.
