Maps of our region
QMDC has a team that specialises in creating maps and analysing data relevant to natural resource management in the basin. Our highly skilled spatial analysts create maps, analyse data, manage information technology and explore emerging technologies.
Our 'Community Resource Information System' covers information on all areas of natural resource management. Click here to see the full suite of document in the CRIS section in the publication folder.
To view our range of maps including asset mapping, land use, mining and energy click here (maps folder).
Through the support of mapping software speciliasts Esri and its not-for-profit program we can publish user-friendly mapping and data analysis on a platform called ArcGIS Online. You can find apps, maps and data we've been working on here: http://www.arcgis.com/home/search.html?q=QMDC.
Want to make your own map?
Most of the maps we produce use freely available public information. Download the free training tips we've put together for our technical staff.
