Wallangarra Rabbit Control - Update and Barbeque

Where: Wallangarra, QLD.

What impact is warren ripping having on rabbit numbers?
Join us for a social barbeque and to look at Wallangarra’s warren ripping results to date. 
This workshop will provide an update on the Rabbit Control Project currently running in the the Wallangarra district.

We will talk about:

  • Rabbit monitoring results
  • Warren ripping progress
  • Mop up and control techniques for warrens that can’t be ripped
  • What has worked and what hasn't
  • Group discussion on options for future rabbit work for Wallangarra 
  • What do you need to do next?
  • Identify new control areas

For new group members this is an opportunity to:

  • Discuss ripping techniques
  • See a warren ripping demonstration in action
  • Hear about the incentive dollars available to tackle rabbits on your property.
