The Landcare Discovery Centre in our Toowoomba Office houses a resource library and a range of products for sale.
Library Resources
The resource library is open to schools and the wider public and contains a variety of kits, models, books, videos/DVDs and posters. Our offices located in Goondiwindi and Roma also house a smaller selection of resources. Library resources are free to borrow. Library resources can be searched online.
If you are not able to make it into one of our offices we can arrange to have the items sent to you. For more information on our resource collection please call Renee (4637 6270).

The Biodiversity Kit is just one of a series of kits available for loan. Other kits include; a water quality testing kit, water bug sampling kit and bird watching kit.
The Biodiversity Kit contains equipment which will allow students to capture and study insects and other invertebrates and conduct biodiversity surveys. The Biodiversity Kit includes items such as magnifying glasses, small nets, insect viewing containers and quadrats.

The Activate Your Students series contains a separate resource for lower, middle and upper primary students. The series supports an inquiry-based learning approach and is designed to support students in formulating, researching and responding to important questions about their world. Sustainability themes examined include food, transport, buildings, the natural environment. |

The Teaching Green series contains a separate resource for High School (9-12), Middle School (6-8) and Primary (P-5)students. These resources present case studies from educators in the classroom and provide practical and innovative ideas to engage students in authentic sustainability-based learning experiences. |

How to Succeed with Education for Sustainability focuses on building capacity within the school community to create a sustainable future. This book is a practical reference book which provides a framework to assist school communities to implement education for sustainability. |
