TRAINING PROGRAM

Things with we do with students and teachers

We are passionate about sharing how to care for our environment and be a sustainable farmer with the next generation so we run a comprehensive education program called Learning Through Landcare.

We offer primary and secondary students and their teachers activities, field days and resources on ‘landcare’ and sustainability and environmental themes that link with the Australian National Curriculum!

Kids and teachers get hands-on in the outdoors, in our rivers, fields and bushland, to learn about stuff like biodiversity, habitat and water quality.

For information about 'Learning Through Landcare' or to access any of the fun interactive projects listed on our Education pages please contact:

QMDC Education Officer Shelley Purser on ph: (07) 4637 6224 or via email at shelleyp@qmdc.org.au.
