Healthy landscapes, viable communities

Maps

Mapping and spatial analysis for understanding our region

We support Landcare Groups, Regional Councils and other organisations across the region.  Our Community Resource Information System covers information on all areas of natural resource management.  We've published a general selection of maps under the Publications/Maps tab.  This page includes a list of both maps publsihed and those available on request.

Want to make your own maps?  Most of the maps we produce use freely available public information.  Download the free training tips we've put together for our technical staff. Some of the data sources we regularly use have been listed on the DataHub page (under library services) and in the disclaimers and legends on published maps.
