Atlas Series
Automated 'bread and butter' maps created using the best available data. Available as A3 landscape format (available as electronic pdf or printed). These maps have been created with national, state and some regional information.
All new map books are auto generated. We publish them here in the hope that you will let us know if there are any errors or missing information.
Property scale maps
- 1:25,000 maps based on the 1:100,000 grid. A combination of topographic and imagery maps. Hard and soft copy end product (on request). Suitable for property planning and field survey. Available on request. See Mapping Support Services
Local maps
- Regional ecosystem biodiversity assessment (1:250,000)
- Water infrastructure and assests (1:100,000 map series)
- Aquatic Conservation Assessment maps (per Landcare region)
- Subcatchment desktop assessment (~1:100,000)
Regional
- Regional Council Map series
- Local Government and population
- Landcare Map Series, including Aquatic Conservation Assessment maps

GIS unit initiatives
Applications and systems developments
Pest Information Management System (PIMS): implementing the Spatial pest Attribute Standard. Includes migration capability for PestInfo type records.
Resource Management Collection: Property infrastructure and project planning spatial database. Includes hundreds of symbols. Complient with state and national standard output reporting codes
Data Managment: Collate and maintain an extensive collection of publicly available data. Assessment of data reliability and suitability, symbologya and summary statistics. Maintained as esri file geodatabases and for data sets with field verification esri sde geodatabase.
Analysis: Perform routine and complex analysis on supplied data. Including:
- potential extent of Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act Communities (in Queensland)
- Analysis of Major Vegetation Groups (NVIS)
