Land for Wildlife Plus funding opportunities
Are you a Land for Wildlife landholder? If so, the Queensland Murray-Darling Committee, through Land for Wildlife, is offering financial help to progress nature conservation on-ground projects. QMDC will assist landholders registered with this program to improve their management and protection of Priority Ecosystems and Species. Endangered regrowth vegetation and mining policy
Members of the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin with an interest in natural resource management for their business, catchment or community attended the QMDC member meeting in mid-2009. Among the topics discussed was Endangered regrowth vegetation policy options; click here for the draft policy options document. QMDC's mining impact policy options were also discussed, click here for the draft document. Both these documents remain open for comment.
